Welcome to our family website. We moved to NZ from London in 2001. It was a huge decision to leave family and friends and life in the UK, but "if" is the middle word in "life" and we would not change our lives hereWe now live in Auckland and overall it's pretty good. Everyone
has the usual complaints: traffic, public transport, weather,
crowds. All of these are better than London, with the exception
of public transport, which is not too good from where we live. We
live in Oratia, in rural West Auckland, about 25km (12m) from the
city centre. We are about 20 mins drive from some
fantastic beaches and are in the Waitakere hills, fern filled NZ rain forest. |
